It has been four long years since a World Poker Tour main event was held in Canada, but the wait is almost over because the WPT heads to Montreal at the end of November.
The WPT Montreal Championships will take place at the Playground Poker Club from Nov. 23 through 27 and you could be heading there armed with a package worth $5,500. Some of the best players in the world are expected to be in attendance, but the poker media could be following you if you go deep in what should be one of the best live poker events held in Canada.
Each $5,500 package consists of:
- $3,300 WPT Montreal Championship main event seat

Tony G recently took on 12-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth in a triathlon of events during the WPT Malta festival. Tony G sent Hellmuth on his bike but he still won't stop needling him.
