Mike Sexton Talks Of A Victory For All Poker Players
Last week Federal Judge Jack Weinstein of New York ruled that poker is not gambling and is actually a game of skill — a ruling that could have serious ramifications for the game we all love.
Mike Sexton was one of scores of poker players who has publicly spoken out since the ruling, doing so on his PartyPoker blog. Sexton claims that poker has "been blessed" by the judge and that he expects "many states to change their archaic laws" in agreement with the judge.
Sexton also believes the ruling will allow poker players in the United States of America to be able to play their home-games without fear of legal repercussions and that he expects this ruling will have a major impact on the legality of online poker in the U.S.
