GG Online Championship

Hold onto your hats, folks, because GGPoker has just announced it is running online poker’s biggest-ever series. From May 5 through May 31, players at GGPoker will win a share of $150 million worth of guaranteed prize pools in the GG Online Championship.

Some 131 numbered events adorn the busy schedule, with those events split into up to four buy-in levels. Low buy-in events start from $5, Medium from $25, High from $500, and Super High from $2,500. There is a GG Online Championship event for everyone, regardless of the size of their bankroll.

$24 Million Guaranteed Across Just Three Events!

It is extremely difficult to pick out a tournament one would consider a highlight of the series because there are so many massive guaranteed prize pools on offer. However, it would be criminal not to mention a special trio of events that have combined guarantees that tip the scales at an almost unbelievable $24 million!

Day 1s for the $10,300 Super MILLION$ HR Main Event start on May 15. The Super MILLION$ attracts the biggest names in the business under its normal guise but the GG Online Championship edition is extra special, not least because GGPoker has slapped a colossal $10 million guarantee on its prize pool! Expect a top prize in the region of $1.5 million, like the payout Joakim Andersson secured in the GG Spring Festival edition of this amazing tournament.

Another $10,300 Super MILLION$ HR Championship takes place from May 29 and boasts of an impressive $6 million guarantee!

Then there is the quite remarkable GG Online Championship Main Event, which has the final day scheduled for May 29. It comes with a juicy $8 million guarantee on its prize pool despite the tournament costing $1,500 to enter. Expect a plethora of satellites feeding into this particular tournament not least because it requires more than 5,600 entries to hit that ambitious guarantee.

GGPoker’s Global Ambassador, Daniel Negreanu, is excited for the GG Online Championship, calling it the best online series ever.

"It’s great to be able to introduce a brand-new tournament series that all GGPoker players can enjoy, and GG Online Championship is the biggest and best online series ever. We’re doubling the guarantees seen elsewhere; players will be leaving a lot of value behind them if they don’t dive in at GGpoker this month."

$500,000 Worth of GG Online Championship Leaderboards

In addition to the, frankly, ridiculous value provided by the GG Online Championship events, GGPoker is spicing matters up with $500,000 worth of leaderboards! There are a trio of leaderboards based on the events’ buy-ins. Low players compete for a share of $100,000, Medium players for $150,000, with High players battling out all month for the lion’s share of $250,000. The leaderboard details are being finalised, so watch this space.
