Can Burns Win a Third WSOP Bracelet in the $25,000 Super High Roller Championship?
Action in the 2021 World Series of Poker Online continued all weekend on GGPoker with two more champions crowned on Sunday night.
Eduardo Rodrigues eliminated the final two players in a single hand to win the $1,500 Monster Stack, while Armando D'avanzo defeated a field of over 10,000 players to win the $400 Colossus.
Meanwhile, just nine players remain in the $25,000 Super High Roller Championship and two-time bracelet winner Kahle Burns leads the way.

Burns Leads Final Nine in Event #21: $25,000 Super High Roller Championship
Out of a field of 255 entries, only nine players remain in Event #21: $25,000 Super High Roller Championship. They have all locked up a portion of the $6,247,500 prize pool already and will have their eyes set on the top prize of $1,212,033 and the gold bracelet that comes along with it.
Three former WSOP champions are among the finalists and Kahle Burns leads the pack after a late surge on the final two tables. Close behind is China's Wenjie" Jerome001" Huang and Greece's Alexandros Theologis.
Another former WSOP bracelet winner in contention is Adrian Mateos. The Spanish player reached the final four in Event #15: $10,000 Heads Up NLHE Championship, which is currently on break until September 4. Also making the final table is GGPoker Team Russia member Anatoly Filatov.

Eduardo Rodrigues Scores a Double Knockout to Win Event #20: $1,500 MONSTER STACK NLH
Brazil’s Eduardo "Ghazbaran" Rodrigues knocked out two players on the final hand to win his first WSOP gold bracelet in Event #20: $1,500 MONSTER STACK NLH Freezeout. The 20th event of the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online bracelet series attracted 1,080 entrants for a $1,539,000 prize pool, with the winner receiving $212,815.
Italy’s Dario Sammartino came into Day 2 in second place on the leaderboard and remained a factor throughout the final table, eliminating Lee "SON_7" Jinhyang in eighth place, Romain "Flingue" Dours in sixth place, and Renato Valentim in fifth place before falling to Rodrigues in a three-way pot to finish second. This was Sammartino’s second final table of the series on GGPoker after finishing fifth in Event #18: $5,000 Short Deck Championship.

Armando D'avanzo Wins Event #22: $400 COLOSSUS $3M GTD
Armando D'avanzo defeated a monster field of 10,903 to take down Event #22: $400 COLOSSUS NLH $3M GTD and collect a first place prize of $409,007. The overall prizepool for this event smashed the posted guarantee, finishing at $4,099,528.
Heads-up against Japanese player Kosuke “PXR-51” Tajima lasted half an hour before D'avanzo won the event in style, flopping a king-high flush to crack the pocket aces of his opponent.
Also at the final table was 2020 WSOP Main Event winner Damian Salas, but he fell in ninth at the hands of Tajima.

2021 WSOP Online Schedule
There's no action on Monday, August 30 in the 2021 WSOP Online, but the action resume on Tuesday evening with Event #23: $600 Deepstack Championship No-Limit Hold'em. There's also plenty of opportunities in the GGPoker client to satellite into the $5,000 Main Event Online Championship, with Day 1s running in the client all this week. The Final Day takes place on Sunday, September 5.
