Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski wins 2020 WCOOP title No. 3

Yuri "theNERDguy" Dzivielevski's stellar year continued on Monday night where the Brazilian claimed his third WCOOP title of the series. Under the watchful eye of the PokerNews live reporting, Dzivielevski prevailed in WCOOP-48-H: $5,200 NLHE [8-Max, Progressive KO, Sunday Slam] for a score of $245,535, defeating another red-hot player heads-up, countryman Brunno "botteonpoker" Botteon, to claim the title.

The Brazilian followed up on earlier wins in WCOOP 09-H: $1,050 NL 2-7 Single Draw for $21,938 and WCOOP 20-H: $1,050 HORSE for $31,115, and claimed his fourth title overall after a 2015 win. It's not Dzivielevski's biggest score ever as back in 2014, he finished runner-up to Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz in the Main Event for a massive $1.2M bink.

Dzivielevski had to share Monday night's spotlight as Tobias "Senkel92" Leknes also booked his third win of the series. While not one of the typical crushers in the star-studded fields, the Norwegian mixed game specialist has quietly been wreaking havoc in the different formats the WCOOP has to offer. Last night, he booked a win in WCOOP-49-M: $215 NLO8 [6-Max, Progressive KO] for $23,963, a third 2020 victory, and sixth overall WCOOP gold.

Plenty more happened on Day 16 of the WCOOP, including repeat victories for Murilo "Muka82" Figueiredo and deivid29, so check below for a full overview of all that transpired.
