Day 1a of the World Poker Tour World Online Championships Main Event on partypoker kicked off yesterday with 521 players generating a prize pool of $5,210,000.

80 players advanced to Day 2 including partypoker Ambassadors Philipp Gruissem and Dzmitry Urbanovich.

Leading the way is Slovenia's Blaž Žerjav who bagged 4.4 million chips, ahead of Dominik Panka (2.8 million), Shaun Deeb (2.7 million) and Antonio Pedro (2.7 million).

WPT WOC Main Event Schedule

Day 1b of the World Poker Tour World Online Championships Main Event takes place on Sunday, 13 September at 19:05 (BST). The buy-in is $10,300 with satellites now running where you can win your way in for just $2.20.
