Poker Masters Online Update: Over $8m in Prize Money Won So Far!

Andras Nemeth moves into the overall Championship lead as Michael Addamo and Kahle Burns take down Poker Masters titles

A total of 11 events have now been completed in the Poker Masters Online on partypoker and over $8 million in prize money won by some of the biggest names in high stakes online tournament poker.

There were wins for Kahle Burns, Michael Addamo and partypoker Sponsored Pro Joni Jouhkimainen, as two more final tables for Andras Nemeth saw the Hungarian move into the overall standing lead!


Pauli Ayras Wins Event #6 for $303,422

The field for the second Pot-Limit Omaha event of the Poker Masters was almost double the first, with 97 players entering the event which was eventually won by Pauli Ayras.

He was one of two Finnish players at the final table, with Samuli Sipila having to settle for fifth place, with five Finnish players cashing in total - and another bubbling!

After only notching up a 10th place so far in the Poker Masters, Alexandros Kolonias roared back to take victory in Event #07, defeating George Wolff heads-up.

Joni Jouhkimainen Wins Event #8 for $254,800

Joni Jouhkimainen

With a total of 104 players, Event #08 proved to be one of the biggest event so far, with partypoker's Joni Jouhkimainen was the man coming out on top, winning $254,800 and denying Andras Nemeth his second title in the space of two days.

This was the first final table at which all players had recorded at least one cash so far this Poker Masters, with Juan Pardo's fifth-place finish his fourth of the festival, bringing his total cashes to just under $200,000.

Pascal Lefrancois Wins Event #09 for $243,989

Canada's Pascal Lefrancois took down Event #9, but there was much more going on behind him as the contenders started to shape up for the overall Poker Masters Championship.

Timothy Adams and Pauli Ayras both added their fourth cashes of the Poker Masters, with Andras Nemeth's final table his third of the festival vaulting him to the top of the overall standings.

Kahle Burns Wins Biggest Poker Masters Event So Far

With 119 entries, Event #10 was the biggest event of the Poker Masters so far, generating a prize pool of $1,190,000, exceeded only by the opening $25,500 event.

In the end it was Kahle Burns who triumphed, winning $291,550 after defeating Luuk Gieles heads-up.

Michael Addamo

Tuesday night saw another big High Roller name notch up their first win of the Poker Masters Online with Michael Addamo securing victory in Event #11. He defeated Chris Hunichen heads-up who has now cashed in five of the first 11 Poker Masters events.
