The Moneymaker Road to the PSPC heads to Aspers Casino Newcastle on Oct. 28 to Nov. 3.
This festival is just on the heels of the Moneymaker's Road to the PSPC Hippodrome on Oct. 24-27 and like its predecessor, a free Platinum Pass will be added to the winner's prize. The Platinum Pass is valued at €26,000 for the 2020 PSPC in Barcelona in August 2020 that includes everything that follows.
- Buy-in to the €22,500 PSPC 2020 event
- Six nights’ hotel accommodation for you and a guest in a five-star hotel
- Airport transfers
- Bespoke PSPC Merchandise
- €1,250 to cover expenses
- Platinum Pass winner experiences during the event
It is only fitting that PokerStars Ambassador Chris Moneymaker has his name on the tournament as many give him credit for the online poker boom and now his events can potentially make other players' dreams come true.
Win a Platinum Pass in Newcastle
PokerNews will be covering six consecutive Moneymaker Road to the PSPC events with the event at the Aspers Casino Newcastle being the second on the list.
Moneymaker will, of course, be acting as the host and will meet and greet all of the players. If you grew up with Moneymaker as a hero, now is your chance to meet him in person.
The highlight of the festival is the £140 NLHE Moneymaker's Road to the PSPC on Oct. 30 to Nov. 3. The tournament provides plenty of action with four opening flights on Oct. 30 to Nov. 2 and 30-minute blind levels throughout the tournament.
Players start off with 30,000 in chips and if they lose them all have the option to reenter up to two-times during the eight-level late registration period.
Those successful enough to bag chips will compete for one final day until a winner is crowned. As already mentioned, in addition to the lion's share of the prize pool, the winner will also go home with a coveted 2020 Platinum Pass.
Players can reenter once during each of the opening flights during the six-level late-registration window, provided there is space available.
Satellites and Cash Games
Aspers Casino Newcastle is giving players a chance to get into this event for much cheaper than the £140 buy-in. Players can enter in Sit & Go satellites on Oct. 28 that take place from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m.
In addition, players can secure seats via a £10 satellite on Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. that also features a £10 add-on.
Let's not forget there are plenty of £11 satellites taking place online at PokerStars with many feeders to these satellites costing just £1.10!
There will also be plenty of cash game action throughout the festival, so be ready for an action-packed festival.
