Poker Masters will run from Nov. 4-14 this year, with points counting towards a leaderboard for the whole year.

High roller fans who wondered about the lack of announcements about Poker Masters, which ran last September on PokerGO, can rest easy. The tournament series will be back, running early in November.

Additionally, the tournament will play a prominent role in the year-long high roller points chase, which will see one skilled player secure rake-free entries for a pile of events in 2020.

Poker Masters 2019

Fans looking to fire up their PokerGO apps and watch some high-stakes battles can circle Nov. 4-14 on their calendars. That's when Poker Masters 2019 will go down at the PokerGO Studio outside ARIA, according to a Wednesday presser from Poker Central.

That's an update from the initially announced dates of Nov. 1-10. The event was shifted over a few days for undisclosed reasons.

Last year's seven-event schedule has been expanded considerably. While the $100,000 Main Event remains the same, there's a bit more focus on games outside of no-limit hold'em for the 2019 edition.

Mixed events have been added in the form of $10,000 8-Game and $10,000 Big Bet, a mix of no-limit hold'em, pot-limit Omaha and 2-7 single draw. Additionally, PLO and short deck events make their returns, the former more accessible this year at a $10,000 buy-in after last year checked in at $25,000.

Here's a look at the full schedule for Poker Masters:

All events last two days, with the final table reached on Day 1 and the second day streamed with cards-up coverage on PokerGO.

In an effort to encourage on-time registration, Poker Central will once again waive the rake for players who make it to the registration line by noon. Eliminated players may reenter twice per event with the exception of the Main Event, which has only single reentry.

The player able to accumulate the most points through the duration of the series will earn $100,000 in bonus prize money and the right to wear the Purple Jacket. Last year, high-stakes sensation Ali Imsirovic claimed the honors after German pro Steffen Sontheimer stormed to the initial title in 2017.

The bonus $100,000 and a piece of stylish clothing aren't the only things players can strive toward when it comes to racking up points during Poker Masters. Prize are available for the top performers who consistently and fruitfully grind the ARIA high rollers during the whole of 2019.

The top points earner through 2019 will receive rake-free entry into all ARIA high roller events in 2020. The venue hosts several series streamed by Poker Central and also hosts monthly high roller weekends throughout the year. The top five points earners will also get the option to skip the lottery for seats into the Super High Roller Bowl in Las Vegas.

According to Poker Central, more prizes may be revealed at a later date.

The points system is rather involved and can be investigated here for those looking for a breakdown. Sam Soverel currently leads the standings, although upcoming events in London mean that could change very soon.

**Update: Due to a miscommunication, PokerNews previously posted in this piece that Poker Central had entered into a branded sponsorship agreement for the yearly leaderboard. An updated communication with Poker Central revealed that to no longer be the case.
