With just one starting flight left to play, the MPN Poker Tour Prague €550 Main Event collected 338 total entries, within hailing distance of the €200,000 guarantee.

Saturday's 11 a.m. last chance Day 1C is a turbo-affair with 15-minute blind levels, allowing late arrivals or Day 1B’s unlucky late bust-outs one more shot at the 2019 title. It is timed to finish before the scheduled start of Day 2 at 5:30 p.m. A full 60-minute Day 2 level will play through before registration closes for good and the final prize pool and payouts tallied.

Friday’s Day 1B brought 227 entries to the field, and within two levels of play, it was larger than Day 1A. The field merged as tables broke, players re-entered, and the live streamed feature table swapped around until Finland's Kasper Mellanen (lead photo) emerged as the chip leader of the 73 Day 1B survivors. His 298,100 chips put him in pole position overall as the field waits to combine with those who outlast Day 1C.

Ending the day close in chips are Marko Keskel (288,400) and Vrána Vilém (238,900), the former outstripping Thursday’s Day 1A chip leader Mateusz Warowiec (263,000). Other well-known well-stacked players include Mantas Urbonas (152,900) and Johan Goslings (150,000), while erstwhile Irish tablemates Dara O’Kearney and David Lappin both made it through with 72,700 and 44,300 respectively.

Saturday’s featured side event is the €20,000 guaranteed NL Holdem Hendon Mob Championship with a €220/5,500 Kč buy-in, starting at 7 p.m. It boasts the same 30,000 starting stack as the MPNPT Main Event and a 20-minute clock. This excellent structure means that its final day will play on Sunday, restarting at 3 p.m. or an hour after the Main Event. Limited edition Hendon Mob merchandise will be awarded throughout the weekend, including as bounty prizes on specially selected players.

The MPNPT Prague 2019 full event schedule can be found here.

Live reporting continues at the MPN Poker Tour Blog throughout the Main Event (May 2-5), restarting at 5:30 p.m. Cards-up live streaming hosted by Jason "JaxonPoker" Glatzer and Phil "The Tower68" Heald restarts at 8:05 p.m. at the ThrillOfPoker Twitch channel and the MPN Poker Tour Facebook page, on which galleries from all days in Prague can also be found.
