Poker Central & Stadium to Launch Friday Night Poker on Facebook Watch
Poker Central, the folks behind PokerGo, are expanding their entertainment offerings by partnering with Stadium – the original multi-platform sports network featuring exclusive live and on-demand games and events – to launch “Friday Night Poker” on Facebook Watch.
The weekly show, which will debut this Friday, September 21, was designed to allow fans the opportunity to interact and engage with poker personalities in real time while they’re playing a no-limit hold’em cash game. Fans will also have the chance to win their way into the game.
“As Poker Central continues to expand its reach across audiences, growing in highly engaged social channels was a clear evolution.”

The series, which takes place at the PokerGo Studio at ARIA in Las Vegas, will air from 7:00-11:00 p.m. ET (on a 30-minute delay) every Friday for 13 weeks on Facebook Watch – a video platform where episodic content, community and conversation come together. Facebook Watch is available for free on mobile apps across Apple and Android and on desktops/laptops.
“We’ve taken great pride in evolving the traditional live television experience by creating unique social and interactive elements while still keeping production values high,” said Stadium CEO Jason Coyle. “Being able to take those elements and bring fans an interactive poker experience on Facebook is something we’re incredibly excited about."
Friday Night Poker will be hosted by PokerNews Podcast co-host [Removed:139] as well as Brent Hanks and Amanda Leatherman. They will help facilitate exclusive Q&A sessions between viewers and players at the table, giving fans the opportunity to ask strategic questions live.
Leading up to each Friday Night Poker game, the hosts will offer their thoughts, discuss strategy, and review upcoming lineups in a short-form preview show every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. ET.
