Gus Diana and Emil Dannaoui hit the rail in sixth place for A$3,192 ($2,363) after Dannaoui's king-queen were outgunned by the aces held by Ibrahim.

Not too much later the teams of Sargeant and Grant Naylor (fifth - A$4,199), Myles Lattacher and Trent Adams (fourth - A$5,617), and Daniel Copko and Matthew Weir (third - A$7,645) were all eliminated.

Heads-up play lasted just two hands before the team of Seyedrahim Hosseininasab and Roy Vandersluis were eliminated in second place for A$10,591 ($7,839).

Vandersluis got it in with seven-four suited against Ibrahim's king-deuce suited. It was looking like the heads-up match could last longer after Vandersluis flopped a flush draw. However, both he and his teammate were eliminated after blanks came on the turn and the river.
