The third series of the Global Poker Championships — the Rattlesnake Open — gets its official start Monday, April 30 with three 6-Max events, each at a different buy-in tier. All players who registered for the Opening Event Freeroll that took place on Sunday received ten points toward the Rattlesnake Open series leaderboard, but there is still plenty of time to climb the ranks with 81 Sweeps Cash events and 135 total championship events planned across the next three weeks.

Get a Jumpstart on the Series Leaderboard Challenge

Monday's action kicks off at 8:30 p.m. ET with the low version of the no-limit Hold'em 6-max event. For an $11 investment, the tournament offers a $3,000 guarantee, along with a perfect opportunity to get warmed up — in case you missed the opening freeroll on Sunday. The medium 6-max starts 30 minutes later at 9:00 p.m. ET and features a $5,000 guarantee for a $33 buy-in. The final championship event of the night is the high 6-max with a $110 buy-in and a $10,000 guarantee at 9:30 p.m. ET.

You can play in all three, and get a solid start on the series leaderboard challenge which puts up $15,000 in real cash prizes for the top Sweeps Cash events points earners. The overall winner will not only earn bragging rights and the utmost respect from their fellow Global Poker grinder community, but also gets a $5,000 package to represent Global Poker at a live event.

The first two to earn this honor made deep runs in live events to parlay their leaderboard win into free money and a nice bankroll boost. Everyone in the Global Poker community is now wondering, who will be next?

Rattlesnake Open Week One Action

In addition to a variety of Gold Coin events, every day this week, there will be three Rattlesnake Open Sweeps Cash events including a low, medium and high edition, with six events on Saturday and Sunday. Besides several no-limit Hold'em tournaments, Wednesday's events provide a special treat for the four-card enthusiasts with 6-Max Pot Limit Omaha action. Saturday evening, players can try out some Big Ante events, and Sunday, as always, will bring the biggest guarantees of the week.

Sunday's low, medium and high deepstack events offer guarantees of $7,500, $20,000 and $50,000 for buy-ins of $22, $110 and $218, respectively. Check out the full Rattlesnake Open Sweeps Cash schedule to plan out your tournament grind for the week and the entire series.
