Unibet Poker will be hosting its first-ever online poker festival dubbed the Unibet Online Series (UOS) from Feb. 26 to March 11. The UOS marks a major breakthrough for Unibet Poker as it continues to develop its offerings since it left Microgaming Poker Network to become a stand-alone site.

The festival features 28 events broken down into three different tiers per event — Nano, Low and High — to create a huge schedule of 84 tournaments with combined guaranteed prize pools of €300,000.

The lowest tier will offer tournaments with buy-ins ranging from €0.10 to €1, meaning any player regardless of their bankroll can enjoy the inaugural online poker festival. The Low events will feature buy-ins from €2 to €25 and the High events feature buy-ins from €25 to €100.

In addition, satellites, which are already running now, provide players an opportunity to qualify for the event of their choice for a fraction of the cost.

Series Highlights

The series ends with three Main Events including the highlight of the festival: the €100 UOS Main Event featuring a €100,000 prize pool.

Six tournaments will be on tap each day throughout the poker festival with three taking place at 7:00 p.m. GMT and the remainder taking place at 8:30 p.m. GMT. The tournaments will consist of both no-limit hold'em and pot-limit Omaha varieties, and take advantage of many different tournament formats including rebuy, bounty, progressive bounty, ante and freezeout.

Unibet Poker will also be hosting four leaderboards, one for each tier and one overall leaderboard, for its inaugural festival with €25,000 in additional prizes awarded. The winner of the overall leaderboard will walk away with €1,500, while the winners of the High, Low and Nano leaderboards will be awarded €700, €500 and €200, respectfully.

In addition to winning a decent cash prize, the winner of the overall leaderboard will be invited to play in the inaugural Unibet Battle of Champions at the end of the year. This event will be a nine-player tournament with all of the Unibet Poker champions from 2018, with more details to be revealed later in the year.
