Global Poker Grizzly Games Kick Off Sunday with a $5,000 Freeroll
Global Poker is kicking off their second installment of The Global Poker Championships in style, putting up SC$5,000 in the Opening Event freeroll. This massive and free-to-enter tournament takes place Sunday, Jan. 14 at 3 p.m. EST and promises to be a great start to the Grizzly Games.
There are no requirements to be met in order to register for the SC$5,000 Opening Event freeroll and no restrictions on number of players who can enter. Just make sure you have your account set up at Global Poker and you will be on your way.
Cash and Prizes on Offer
In addition to a share of the SC$5,000 prize pool, players in the opening freeroll will be battling for so much more. A Global Poker Champions Pack complete with a massive trophy, a GP t-shirt and hat, along with some other goodies will be delivered directly to the victor’s doorstep in typical Global Poker fashion.
The winner will have the chance to pick up even more bonus cash and prizes should they choose to participate in the Hometown Heroes promotion where Global Poker champions posts photos of themselves flaunting their GP gear around their hometown, on or off the felt.
The Opening Event freeroll also represents the first chance of the series to begin accumulating points toward the Grizzly Games Leaderboard, which has over $15,000 in real cash value up for grabs.
