2018 XL Blizzard Schedule Announced at 888poker
888poker is gearing up for another massive online poker tournament festival. The XL Blizzard series heads to 888poker from Jan. 18-28 and features 34 events across a variety of formats, each with large guarantees.
Although the full schedule is yet to appear in the 888poker lobby, PokerNews has learned there will be some must-play events including the $80,000 Opening Event, the $250,000 High Roller, the $50,000 Crazy 8 tournament, and the $1 million guaranteed Main Event.
The full 888poker ambassador roster will be playing most, if not all, of the events, so expect to lock horns with the likes of Chris Moorman, four-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Dominik Nitsche, Sofia Lovgren, Natalie Hof, Parker “tonkaaaa” Talbot, Bruno Foster and Denilson during the XL Blizzard series.
In addition to the 34 scheduled events, 888poker is running $1 Million Winners Promotion, while the Champion of Champions returns and bursting the money bubble could prove quite profitable.
$1 Million Winners Promotion
Winning more than one XL Blizzard tournament will not only bag you some substantial prize money, it will also net you a prize of between $1,000 and a cool $1 million.
Win two events and 888poker will reward you with $1,000, win a third and you’ll receive $10,000. Anyone who manages to take down four XL Blizzard events will walk away with $100,000 and if you’re lucky and skilful enough to triumph in five events, your bankroll will be boosted by $1 million.
Champion of Champions
The Champion of Champions returns for the XL Blizzard series and someone will win a $12,000 WSOP Vegas package. Each time you play in an XL Blizzard event, you earn leaderboard points. The top 50 players on the leaderboard receive a ticket to the Champion of Champions tournament and everyone in that special event wins a prize.
