Low Stakes, Big Payouts Come to Poker Giants Festival at King's Casino
King's Casino, located on the German border in the Czech Republic, is well known for providing amazing poker festivals for both recreational and professional poker players alike.
Lower-stakes players are once again in for a treat when the Poker Giants Festival comes to King's Casino on Dec. 14-17 where the buy-ins are small but the guarantees are big.
The highlight of the poker festival is the €175 Poker Giants Main Event which features a huge €100,000 guaranteed prize pool. The tournament features an amazing structure with players starting off the four opening flights on Dec. 14-16 with 50,000 in chips and blinds increasing every 30 minutes.
Additionally, players have 12 chances to bring forward a huge stack for the final day on Dec. 17 thanks to each opening flight allowing for two reentries and players allowed to bring their best stack forward. In other words, if a player bags a stack they are not satisfied with during one of the earlier opening flights, they can try to accumulate even more chips during a later flight.
Players advancing to the final day can take advantage of an even deep structure with blinds increasing every 40 minutes.
While the buy-in for the Main Event is certainly reasonable for most players, those with a more limited bankroll can try to qualify for the tournament through three €40 qualifiers on Dec. 14-16 which guarantee a combined 35 seats.
There are a handful of lower-limit one-day side events also on the schedule including the €50 Poker Giants Noon Turbo on Dec. 14, the €110 Tristar Bounty Tournament with a €20,000 guarantee on Dec. 15, the €90 Poker Giants Omaha Challenge with a €3,000 guarantee and the €100 King's Hold'em Championship with a €15,000 guarantee on Dec. 16 and the €60 Poker Giants Sunday Deepstack with a €7,000 guarantee on Dec. 17.
As is always the case at King's Casino, cash games will be running 24 hours a day throughout the festival at stakes low and high.
