The biggest and best Powerfest is fully underway at partypoker with a handful of events already on the books.

Powerfest features 200 action-packed tournaments with over $20 million in combined guaranteed prize pools from May 7-21. Buy-ins for events range from as low as $5 to as high as $25,500, providing a plethora of tournaments across many poker variants suitable for anyone's bankroll.

As has been the case during previous festivals, the latest edition of Powerfest features four Main Events on May 21.

  • $11 Powerfest #291 Main Event $50K Gtd.
  • $55 Powerfest #292 Main Event $100K Gtd.
  • $215 Powerfest #293 Main Event $1M Gtd.
  • $1,050 Powerfest #295 Main Event $1M Gtd. High Roller

The biggest event to take place thus far was the $215 Powerfest #013 – $1M Gtd. on May 7. This is one of six events outside of the Powerfest Main Events to guarantee at least a $1 million prize pool.

The tournament attracted 3,354 entrants, which led to a huge $329,200 overlay. The two players taking most advantage of the free money were "jaycer1337" banking $140,400 and "DonAndresPL" taking home $125,000 as part of a heads-up deal where players split $250,000 and played for the remaining $15,400.

The tournament with the biggest buy-in and the biggest guarantee, Powerfest #301 – $2M Gtd. Super High Roller, is expected to attract some of the biggest names in poker. Among the players already confirmed are partypoker Ambassador Sam Trickett and Dusk Till Dawn owner Rob "Rob_Yong_" Yong.

This tournament will also benefit a charity. All of the rake contributed in the tournament will be donated to the charity of the tournament winner's choice. In addition, partypoker will donate another $50,000 on top of the fees to the chosen charity if the tournament attracts at least 100 entrants.

”I will be playing more online events than ever in this new edition of Powerfest on partypoker," Trickett said. "The addition of the $25K Super High Roller is great and it’s a really nice touch from partypoker to donate all fees to charity."

Satellites and feeders to all partypoker tournaments are running around the clock starting at just $0.01. This provides players a chance to play in any tournament they choose at a fraction of the cost.
