Mackoff entered Day 2 in fourth place in chips and moved up to third place by the time the final table began behind Brazil's Bernardo "bedias" Dias and Jensen.

Very soon after the final table began, American poker refugee and WSOP gold bracelet winner Ryan "PROTENTIALmn" LaPlante eliminated fellow American and eight-time WSOP Circuit gold ring winner Ari "BodogAri" Engel in eighth place for $6,738.

A short while later, a duo of players was eliminated within a span of three hands. First to go was Russia's "WTFOMFGOAO" in seventh place for $8,575 followed by Canada's Sebastian "p0cket00" Sikorski in sixth place for $11,025.

LaPlante was the next player eliminated in fifth place for $13,475, representing his 12th cash during the SCOOP.

A short while later, Dias amassed a big chip lead with a 2:1 chip advantage against all of his opponents which were all close in chips. However, the lead was short-lived after Jensen eliminated Malta's "FrCnnctn1960" in fourth place for $20,825 and at the subsequent break had more than half of the chips in play.

A deal was briefly discussed before Jensen thought better of it and expressed he wanted to go for the top prize. After some time passed, Jensen eliminated Dias in third place for $28,175.

Jensen entered the heads-up battle with a 2:1 chip advantage. However, Mackoff was able to battle back and assume a 1.5:1 chip advantage when new deal talks began. A deal was quickly reached primarily based off ICM with a little extra money going to Jensen and $2,000 left on the table to play for.

Mackoff was able to seal the deal to collect the extra $2,000 and $45,438 in total. Jensen remarkably collected his 19th cash this SCOOP and took home $42,150 for his runner-up performance.
