Grand Prix U.K.

The Grand Prix Series, part of the new partypoker LIVE tour, give players the opportunity to turn a small investment into a potentially huge payday, thanks to the ambitious guarantees placed in each event.

Over the past couple of months, there have been Grand Prix events in Cork and Dublin in Ireland, Canada, Czech Republic and Austria. Each of these events have had guaranteed prize pools of between €100,000 and €500,000 and every one of them surpassed the guarantee.

Now partypoker and Dusk Till Dawn have pushed the boat out by upping the guarantee for the Grand Prix U.K. event to a whopping £1 million. Despite the giant guarantee, the buy-in for Grand Prix U.K. has been set at a mere £220, and thanks to online satellites at partypoker, it is possible to qualify for the £1 million guaranteed event for as little as $0.01.

£1 Million Grand Prix U.K. Schedule

As in previous editions of Grand Prix events, the U.K. tournament is played across a mixture of online and live Day 1s. More than a dozen Day 1s take place online at partypoker and there are several live Day 1s held at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham and at a handful of partner casinos around the United Kingdom and Ireland.

The buy-in for live Day 1s is set at £220 with any online buy-ins costing the dollar equivalent which is $275.

$10,000 Caribbean Poker Party Golden Chip Promotion

As if being able to turn a £220 buy-in into a share of a guaranteed £1 million wasn’t enough to attract players to the Grand Prix U.K. event, partypoker and Dusk Till Dawn are running their popular Golden Chip promotion for this tournament.

The first 100 players who make it through to Day 2 via an online Day 1 will receive a Golden Chip. If you reach the final table of the Grand Prix U.K. with a Golden Chip in your possession, you automatically win a package to the Caribbean Poker Party worth $10,000 and will be jetting off to Punta Cana in November to play for a share of a guaranteed $5 million.
