Less than a fortnight after securing the $150,000 Super XL Mega Deep title at 888poker for $34,524, Spain’s Adrian “ADRI_ATM” Mateos won the $325,000 guaranteed Title Fight at partypoker for $54,133.

Partypoker recently announced its Title Fight tournament, a $215 buy in weekly event, would have a progressive guarantee. The online poker site promised that if the $300,000 guarantee was hit on Feb. 12, the Feb. 19 edition would have $325,000 guaranteed and so on. The Feb. 12 Title Fight did hit its $300,000 guarantee, meaning $325,000 was guaranteed for Sunday’s tournament.

While this was great news for players, it wasn’t all smiles and rainbows for the partypoker management team because a field of 1,363 players left them nursing a sizeable overlay of some $52,400.

Mateos took full advantage of the overlay and showed the world he can rub shoulders with the best of them in the online poker world, despite his success in the live arena.

Also at partypoker, Maksim “MAMOHT_T” Viktorovich and “prettythug99” chopped the $150,000 Gtd Main Event and walked away with $23,174 and $21,009 respectively, while “JETFIRE68” banked the largest prize of the weekend, winning the $54,652 first-place prize of partypoker's $100,000 Gtd Super High Roller.

In the $50,000 Gtd Weigh-In, Joni “TAUSKI” Paakkola was the last player standing and collected $11,359. “anthal” emerged victorious from the $150,000 Gtd High Roller, turning $530 into $39,180.

The biggest cash of the weekend went to Canada’s “thx4urm0n3y” with a win in the PokerStars $215 Sunday Million, a result worth a massive $145,747. A special mention to Sweden’s “tomc1s” who was the runner-up and also banked a six-figure score of $102,279.
