WSOP Circuit Rozvadov

The King’s Casino Rozvadov is preparing for the return of the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C) festival where more than €2,250,000 is guaranteed to be won over the course of 14 gold-ring-awarding events.

It is fair to say that the 2015 WSOP-C Rozvadov was a huge success, so it is no surprise that the Czech Republic’s premiere poker venue has been chosen to host the 2016 edition of this superb festival, starting Oct. 27.

Players heading to The King’s Casino can compete for a total of 14 WSOP gold rings in tournaments costing between €220 and €8,888 to enter, the latter being a one day super high roller event that is almost guaranteed to attract some of the best tournament poker players in the world.

Another tournament sure to be hugely popular is the €1,650 WSOP Circuit Main Event. This year’s Main Event features two starting flights where players sit down with 30,000 chips and play to 45-minute blinds, hoping to progress to Day 2 and the final day’s action where they can share a slice of the €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Players can take two shots at Main Event glory without having to bust from either starting flight. While one re-entry is permitted, players have the option to play both Day 1 and Day 1b. Should they progress to Day 2 with both bullets, they can choose which stack to take through with them.

Last year’s WSOP Circuit Rozvadov Main Event attracted a crowd of 715 players, which made it the largest WSOP-C Main Event held outside the United States. Poland’s Mateusz Dziewonski is the name written into the history books under the heading “champion,” an accolade that not only came with a coveted gold ring, but also an impressive €206,927 in cash.
