14 Rings Will Be Won at the 2016 WSOP Circuit at King’s Casino
When the King’s Casino Rozvadov hosted a 2015 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit festival, it was a massive success. So it is no surprise that the Czech Republic’s premier poker venue is running another WSOP Circuit festival, one with more than €2,250,000 in combined guaranteed prize pools.
Running from Oct. 27 to Nov. 14, the 2016 WSOP Circuit festival at King’s Casino will be the place to be for poker with 14 gold rings to be won in addition to huge sums of cash, putting Rozvadov on the map.
Each of the 14 tournaments are set to be hotly contested, but every tournament poker player will have their eye on the WSOP Circuit Main Event, a €1,650 buy in tournament run over the course of four days (including two starting flights), with a guaranteed prize pool weighing in at €1 million.
Day 1a of the €1 million guaranteed Main Event takes place at 2:00 p.m. on Nov. 11, with Day 1b, Day 2 and the final day’s play kicking off at the same time on subsequent days.
When King’s Casino held the WSOP Circuit Main Event in November 2015, it attracted a 715-strong field. All of those entries except for one were outlasted by Poland’s Mateusz Dziewonski who walked away with €206,927 for his €1,650 investment.
Those competing in the Main Event are also likely to consider competing for the title of High Roller and Super High Roller champion. Anyone wanting to battle it out for either of these accolades needs to put €5,300 and €8,888 on the table and be prepared to take on some of the best poker players on the planet.
The €5,300 High Roller features a €100,000 guaranteed prize pool, while the larger €8,888 Super High Roller doesn’t have a guarantee. The latter is played over a single day meaning whoever takes it down will have an envious hourly rate.
Satellites for the €1 million WSOP Circuit Main Event are available at King’s Casino or online at 888poker. The online satellites cost $160 to enter and guarantee at least one package worth $2,250 will be won, with additional packages adding on for each $2,250 in the prize pool.
This package awards its winner a €1,650 buy-in for the WSOPC Main Event and six nights at the King’s Hotel Rozvadov.
