It was a slower week of online poker with fewer players turning out on Sunday than normal to play at New Jersey regulated online poker rooms. All three $50,000 guaranteed tournaments provided overlay and some of the other big tournaments while meeting their guarantees, were down in numbers.
Taking full advantage of the smaller fields on Sunday was Kevin "SofcknsicKKK" Campbell, who shipped the $50,000 The Ultimate Warrior at WSOP.com NJ and 888poker NJ for $13,500. Also at the final table were John "Selurznug" Cosgrove Jr (2nd - $7,850), Michael "mdb77" Dellabarca (4th - $3,500), Yong "LuckySpewy1" Kwon (7th - $1,900), John "KewlStoryBro" Ciarkowski (8th - $1,200), and KJ "RoldUpAcez" Magill (9th - $850).
New Jersey's "skinsiu13" was the other five-figure winner on Sunday after taking down the Sunday Special, $50,000 Gtd on PokerStars NJ for $10,750. Notable players on the final table in this tournament included last week's WSOP NJ/888poker NJ The BIG Deal winnerRobert "s.l. halper" Taylor taking fifth place for $3,000 and well-known New Jersey grinder David "supadphat" Cheng snagging ninth place for $1,000.
Also at PokerStars NJ, "Y0uth1nAsia" outlasted a small field of 43 entrants to ship the Sunday High Roller [6-Max], $15,000 Gtd for $8,084.
The biggest winner on Sunday at partypoker NJ, BorgataPoker.com was "Zdvol632", who banked an even $8,000 for finishing on top of the Sunday $40k Championship Bonus.
Meanwhile, a special shoutout goes to Michael "FairyMary" St. John who shipped two big tournaments on Sunday at WSOP.com NJ and 888poker NJ. He first took down the $10,000 Warriors’ Opening Strike for $3,440 before later also winning the $10,000 Fierce Warrior for $4,586.
