MSPT Visits Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells This Weekend for $200K GTD Main Event
This weekend, the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) will be at Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells for a $1,100 buy-in $200,000 guaranteed Main Event. If satellite numbers are any indication, the penultimate stop of Season 6 is slated to more than double the guarantee!
Among those confirmed to be in action are Allen Kessler, who actually designed the MSPT structure to make it "Chainsaw Approved"; circuit grinder Daniel Lowery, who will be making his first trip to Wisconsin; and defending champ Ben Wiora.
"I look forward to returning to Wisconsin to defend my title," said Wiora, who has since relocated to Las Vegas. "The MSPT coming to town is always one of the more exciting times of the year in Wisconsin, and players come from all over the state to compete. With a little luck, maybe I can hold onto the title!"
The last time the MSPT visited Ho-Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells was way back in February for the Wisconsin State Poker Championship, a tournament that attracted 463 runners and saw Wiora walk away with the $114,512 first-place prize.

"Season 6 has been nonstop action," said MSPT owner and operator Bryan Mileski. "The numbers continue to grow, and we seem to be attracting some big names in the game. There's no denying that the MSPT has become the premiere tour in the Midwest and throughout the country."
