The New Jersey Online Poker Briefing: Mike

New Jersey's "KINGDONK99" was this week's biggest winner in the Garden State, banking a cool $10,000 after outlasting a field of 237 players in the partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com $50,000 Guarantee. The runner-up in that tournament was "grindharder629", who cashed for $6,800.

However, the big news from the weekend was the continued domination of Mike "LeftSid3" Haberman Jr., who topped a 168-player field in the WSOP.com/888poker NJ Sunday $30,000 Guarantee for $8,391. Haberman has been crushing the biggest New Jersey online tournaments as of late.

Just last week, Haberman took first place in a heads-up deal in the partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com $50,000 Guarantee for $8,385 where he plays under the screenname "JohnnyDrama," and on Aug. 16 he took second in this same tournament after agreeing to a heads-up deal for $8,242.

The runner-up in the Sunday $30,000 Guarantee was "mdubsdeezee", winning $4,895 for his efforts.

Other notable winners this weekend included Daniel "leinad" Buzgon, who won the partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com Daily $10,000 Guarantee on Sunday for $3,467, and Jonathan "jetsfan14" Borenstein, who shipped the WSOP.com/888poker $10,000 GTD Weekly Sunday for $3,108.
