Pokerfest Online Kicks Off On Sept. 27 with 80 Events And $2.5 Million in Guarantees 0001

The Pokerfest Online series will be returning to partypoker from Sept. 27 to Oct. 11, featuring 80 exciting events with $2.5 million in guaranteed prizes to be awarded.

The launch of the online poker festival is on the heals of completion of the PokerFest Live festival taking place earlier this month at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham, where England's Terry Jordan not only won the £330 Pot-Limit Omaha Pokerfest Live Double Chance for £5,000 ($7,675), but also " target="_blank"]took the top spot in the festival's biggest event, the Pokerfest Live £330 Main Event for £52,000 ($81,558).

The online portion of Pokerfest kicks off on Sunday, Sept. 27, with a very reasonably priced $10 buy-in event, Pokerfest #1: $5,000 Gtd NLH Freezeout. The schedule features many low-limit events starting at just $5, however, high-limit players should find plenty on the schedule suiting them as well, with events as high as Pokerfest #75: $75,000 Gtd $2,100 NLH Super High Roller Freezeout.

As you may have anticipated, the highlight of the online poker festival is the PokerFest Main Event, which doubles as Event #73 on the schedule. This edition's Main Event is in a reentry format and features a $250 buy-in with a healthy $300,000 guaranteed prize pool.

While most of the events will take place in the most popular no-limit hold'em format, the schedule also features six pot-limit Omaha events. Additionally, the schedule takes advantage of many different types of tournament formats including full-ring freezeout, six-max, turbo, hyper-turbo, rebuy, reentry, and bounty.

Although many players will buy directly into the events, partypoker offers four different paths to get into events on the schedule at a huge discount, or even for free.

The first path is the most traditional one. Partypoker is hosting many qualifiers, including mega satellites, that guarantee many of seats right before the event starts. The qualifiers start at just $0.50 and are running around the clock.

Players can also use their loyalty points to purchase a ticket to any event, even satellites. Players also have the option to purchase a package for all 80 events on the schedule.

Another way players can participate in Pokerfest Online without touching their bankroll is by opting in and completing on of the two special Pokerfest Missions.

The last path simply requires players to make a deposit. By depositing $10 or more using the special code "FREEPOKERFEST", players will receive $10 in free Pokerfest qualifier tickets.

Players that have signed up through PokerNews in 2015 can be rewarded even more by using the same code and depositing at least $25. These players will not only receive the same $10 in tickets, but also receive a free ticket into one of our three remaining exclusive PokerNews Cup qualifiers, where the winner will walk away with a PokerNews Cup package valued at €1,100.

Players that do not already have an account can receive even more value this time of year. If this describes you, simply sign-up to partypoker through our links and deposit at least $25, and you will not only receive $10 in free satellite tickets and access to all three remaining PokerNews Cup freerolls, but also a healthy 100-percent match on that deposit up to $500.
