Spin & Go: Two More PokerStars Players Win $1 Million
The poker world welcomed two new millionaires during the past weekend, as the Czech Republic’s "Tornádo111" and Canada’s "anushan_2323" took home the $1 million top prize available at PokerStars’ $5 buy-in Spin & Go sit-and-gos.
The two remarkable scores came less than a week after Russia’s "sss66666" made history by hitting the top $1 million prize for the very first time on Monday, Jan. 12.
The first of the two lucky winners, Tornádo111, won the life-changing jackpot after he bested players "RusGreen" and "newann" at the end of an epic game that can be seen in the clip posted at the end of this article.
Although RusGreen and newann missed the chance to end their quick session with an extra million Dollars on their accounts, they are still left with plenty of reasons to celebrate - as they took home a $100,000 'consolation prize' each.
Shortly after PokerStars celebrated the second millionaire Spin & Go jackpot in the room's history, it was anushan_2323's turn to stare at the impressive seven-digit figure on the screen.

To score his first million from online poker, anushan_2323 had to came out victorious from the battle he played against "ChipsMongot" and "jukebox72", who each took home $100,000 for their runner-up and third-place finishes, respectively.
Originally set to be part of the room’s December Festival, the $5 buy-in $1 Million Spin & Go tournaments were extended to the whole month of January - as PokerStars’ attempt to create some new millionaires right during the Christmas time did not result in any lucky winner.
Hugely successful since the date of their launch, the Spin & Gos are lottery-style hyper-turbo 3-max sit-and-gos where the players play for a jackpot that is determined by a random generator before the action begins.
Although most of the games are played for a jackpot that doubles the tournament’s entry fee, prize pools can jump up to 1,200 times the buy-in.
For the special $1 Million Spin & Go promotion, only three out of 10 million $5 Spin & Gos were slated to generate the massive $1 million prize pool. This shows how remarkable are the results that sss66666, Tornádo111 and anushan_2323 put together, especially as they all came in less than a week time.
Players with legal access to the international version of PokerStars can still play Spin and Go tournaments with the hope to score yet another life-changing millionaire jackpot until the end of January.
