2014 LA Poker Classic Schedule Announced

On Tuesday, Matt Savage tweeted the schedule for the 2014 LA Poker Classic at the Commerce Casino. The 60-event festival will run from Jan. 17-Mar. 6, and includes two $500,000 guarantee events, a $1 million guarantee $150 buy-in event, and of course the World Poker Tour-sponsored, $10,000 buy-in main event from March 1-6.

There is also a big, bad $25,400 six-handed high roller event beginning on March 3.

The LAPC also features several formats of tournament poker, including pot-limit Omaha, pot-limit Omaha eight-or-better, Omaha eight-or-better, H.O.R.S.E., seven-card stud, all-in or fold, 2-7 single and triple draw, and more.

The 2013 LAPC Main Event attracted 517 entries, generating a total prize pool of $4,963,200. Canadian Paul Klann outlasted Paul Volpe heads up, earning $1,004,090 and a spot in the WPT Champions Club. Volpe walked away with $651,170.
