On Monday, PokerStars announced a new TV show named The Shark Cage, where professional poker players, Team PokerStars Pros, and qualifiers will compete for $1 million.

The show will include eight heats, all filmed at European Poker Tour events, starting at the 2014 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. Each heat will include five pros and an online qualifier, and they will play for a seat at the final, held at EPT London. The final will be a winner-take-all event, with $1 million going to the champion.

The PCA will feature two heats, which means two players will be able to qualify. Qualifiers will also pocket round-trip flights to Nassau, a double room at Atlantis Paradise Island, and an $800 room credit.

The PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino EPT Grand Final will feature four heats. EPT Barcelona will have two.

Online qualifiers, featuring an added prize pool of $5,000, will take place everyday from Nov. 25-30 at 15:00 EST. The top 50 finishers will qualify for a casting stage to audition for the TV show.

Players who reach the casting stage wil be invited to send a video audition. According to PokerStars, they are looking for “personality, humor, enthusiasm, and talent, so make sure you impress us!”

PokerStars stresses that not all videos submitted must be in English, but they must be less than two minutes. The Shark Cage promotions page has more information, including the terms and conditions.
