79,741 entrants from 106 different nations participated in this year’s 62-event WSOP. The Main Event had 6,352 players alone! The youngest participant in the main event was 21 years and 8 days old, with the oldest participant being 92 years old.
A mind blowing total of over $197 million was awarded in prizes throughout this year's series, making it the ninth consecutive year the WSOP has awarded over $100 million!
