2014 GPI European Poker Awards To Be Hosted During EPT Deauville On January 29
On January 29, 2014, the Global Poker Index will host the 13th ceremony for the GPI European Poker Awards at the Casino Barriere. The awards ceremony will be hosted in conjunction with the PokerStars European Poker Tour Deauville event that takes place from January 22 to February 1.
For this edition of the event, the GPI and partner organizer Poker52 Europa have decided the event should be held at the Salle des Ambassadeurs at Casino Barriere during the EPT, and it is coined as a "rendez-vous for all of the poker industry."
Last year, the awards ceremony attracted more than 200 guests, and this year aims to be even larger. Poker players and industry professionals representing European poker from all over will be in attendance to celebrate, and this year the event will be sponsored by PokerStars and Lucien Barriere Hôtels et Casinos.
