PKR Qualifiers Set for WSOP 0001

The 2013 World Series of Poker is just six weeks away, and London-based poker room PKR.com is excited to offer its players the chance to travel to Las Vegas for just a few dollars with its WSOP Experience.

The week-long poker vacation, developed by PKR in 2010, caters for the recreational player base, because many of those players have never been to Sin City. Winners of this package will have an opportunity to explore all of what Vegas has to offer, rather than just focusing on poker.

“With its prestige and heritage, the WSOP will always be the focus of our summer expedition," said CEO Malcolm Graham. "But for most of our players, Vegas is more than a collection of gaming tables and the chance to win a bracelet. Year after year, our WSOP Experience delivers a complete poker holiday our qualifiers never forget, and one they aim to relive every summer”.

PKR's $4,500 WSOP Experience package includes entry to Event #42 $1,000 No Limit Hold'em on June 23, six nights stay at the luxurious Palazzo Hotel, $1,500 in travel expenses, and exclusive access to PKR’s itinerary of VIP events.

In the past these VIP events have included VIP cabanas at the Wet Republic pool party and dinner at the Venetian’s TAO.

Alongside the daily super satellites from $3.50 into weekly $270 WSOP finals, PKR will also offer $105 buy-in "coin flip" lottery satellites. Players will have a 1-45 chance of winning a package in these events, and can qualify for these lottery satellites for as low as 30 cents.

U.K. player "pkro1960" has already qualified for the WSOP Experience, turning a $3.50 super satellite win into a $4,500 package.

Packages can also be won during the site’s Vegas Nights Freeroll on June 9, with contestants earning their seat and starting stack through participation in daily, $12 Vegas Nights tournaments.

PKR’s qualifier group nearly won a bracelet in 2011, when Frenchman Jonathan ‘eurojo’ Levy finished 33rd in the Event #54 $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em, earning $16,267. That year’s 24 package winners collected a combined $49,000 in prize money from the tournament.
