An Opening Look at FTOPS XIX
The Full Tilt Online Poker Series returns February 6 with its 19th installment. FTOPS XIX boasts 45 events and more than $22,000,000 in guaranteed prize pools, both all-time highs.
A key reason there are 11 more events than any other FTOPS series has offered in the past is the introduction of multi-entry tournaments . Nine multientry tournaments are on the docket with eight of those being in various types of no-limit hold'em tournaments. Whether you prefer Rush, 6-Max, Super Turbo, Knockout, or just a regular full ring table, there will be a multientry tournament to your liking. The ninth multientry tournament is for those that prefer the mixed games, in the form of a $500+$35 9-game 6-max.
Also making its debut is a $10,000+$300 No-Limit Hold'em Heads-Up Two-Day Event. The buy-in is the largest that FTOPS has seen and includes a prize pool of $500,000. The entrants will have plenty of room to play because the initial starting stacks will be 300 big blinds deep. The tournament is capped at 128 entrants, so if you have the bankroll to enter, don't miss out!
