When you look at the schedule, it’s easy to realize how much of a dent the events can put in one’s bankroll. As always, Full Tilt has satellites running around the clock for these events, which have already begun. Here are some of the better-value satellites to take a shot at if you’re looking to get in an event on the cheap.

Last time around, the first event of the FTOPS guaranteed $1 million in the prize pool, which is $250,000 more than it is guaranteeing this time at $750,000. But that doesn’t mean it still won’t be monstrous. Full Tilt was able to clear the guarantee by nearly $130,000 and should have no problem doing so again, making this one of the biggest events on the schedule. Getting into the event shouldn’t be too hard either as there is a big satellite with 75 seats guaranteed running the day before this event on April 22 for $50 + $5. If you can’t make that one, a turbo version of this satellite will run the day of the event, two and a half hours earlier. Same buy-in, but this time there are at least 150 seats that will be given away.

A few days later, on April 25, a $300 + $22 NLHE event takes place with a guaranteed prize pool of $1.25 million. This is another one of the more marquee events on the schedule and a juicy one if you can win your way into it. A $50 + $5 nonturbo satellite runs the day before where 50 seats will be given away to just about every one out of six and a half entrants. The day of the event will have a turbo satellite running where 200 seats are guaranteed for the same $50 + $5.

Event #12 is the next big monster on the sheet, coming up on April 26 with a hefty buy-in of $1,000 + $60. With $1.25 million guaranteed again in this one, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to try to win in for a much cheaper price. The best satellite running for this tournament is the $200 + $16 turbo one that takes place a few hours before the event starts. Full Tilt is giving away at least 100 seats to the big event.

Coming up toward the end of the series is the famous FTOPS two-day animal, costing $2,000 + $100 to enter. There aren’t too many satellites running for this event, which will make it even more of a premier event than normal, but there is a 40-seat guarantee held on May 1 when you can win a seat for $600 + $40. We know the satellite itself isn’t cheap, but it’s much cheaper than the event. There are also super satellites running for $69 + $6 if you’re looking to step your way up the ladder and try to make it in.

The third-to-last event on the schedule is the $240 + $16 6-max NLHE knockout event, and it’s always a favorite. Even with a guaranteed $1 million for the prize pool, this event should crush that number and create a very lucrative event. Each knockout is also worth $40, which makes this event that much more juicy. There will be a $50 + $5 satellite running two and a half hours before the event on May 2 when at least 150 seats will be given away. You won’t earn any money for knockouts in the satellite, but just make it through to the event and you can go bounty hunting all day.

Last, but not least, is the Main Event. Normally a $500 + $35 buy-in, Full Tilt upped the ante this time and made it a $600 + $40 buy-in with a $3 million guaranteed prize pool! Last time the guarantee was $2.5 million but it reached over $2.8 million. By increasing the buy-in and bumping the guarantee, this is going to be the biggest FTOPS Main Event ever and also one of the largest online tournaments in history. As of right now, there are no satellites listed for the event, but they are coming shortly. Full Tilt loves to help players win into the Main Event for cheaper value than a full buy-in and when the satellites kick off, we’ll be right here to let you know about it. Just to give you an idea of what type of satellite to expect, last time around Full Tilt ran a 250-seat giveaway for $100 + $9 to its Main Event along with countless satellites daily.
