Hughes Takes From Porter; Ingram Chops for a Profit

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Rep Porter raised to 60,000 from under the gun and Ryan Hughes came along from the cutoff. On the {7-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop, Porter bet 60,000 and Hughes called. The {7-Hearts} turn was checked by Porter and Hughes bet 160,000, which resulted in the call by Porter.

On the {9-Clubs} river, Porter check-called a bet of 400,000 and mucked when Hughes showed the {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for a full house. Hughes proceeded to win the next bigger pot of the duo also and Porter dropped almost one million in chips in two hands.

One table over, Joey Ingram was all in and initial raiser Richard Gryko had called. Scott Bohlman in the small blind reraised the pot and that forced out Gryko.

Joey Ingram: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Scott Bohlman: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

The board came {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} and they chopped it up to ensure a profit for Ingram. In table chat, Gryko mentioned he had folded a five for quads.

"Only you cannot bust to quads," he joked over to Ingram.
