In the last edition of the PCA Main Event, Chino Rheem was the last player standing after he conquered an 865-player strong field and collected the $1,567,100 set aside for the winner.
It was a memorable performance from Rheem as he demolished the competition in the final two days of the tournament to etch his name in the history books.
Rheem defeated Daniel Strelitz in heads-up play to claim the title and added his name to the list of PCA Main Event winners which includes legends such as Gus Hansen, Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier, Dimitar Danchev and Maria Lampropulos, to name a few.

Picking up the action on a turn, Eliot Hudon checked and then faced a bet worth 500. Hudon opted for a check-raise to 2,500 and that got the best of it as Kornuth quickly folded. Shortly after, Hudon raised to 300 and Kornuth made it 1,600 to go from one seat over on a three-handed table.
That shut down Hudon and Kornuth won some chips back.
