Play has finished for the day here at the Sporting Monte-Carlo in Day 1 of the 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Monte Carlo €10,200 Mystery Bounty and Vlad Martynenko is the chip leader with a stack of 436,500 heading into Day 2.

Martynenko won the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelet Event in the $1,500 FIFTY STACK No-Limit Hold'em and is looking to build on that bracelet win with an EPT title. In second place is Thomas Santerne with 428,000 chips. The Frenchman is looking for his second EPT title in as he claimed the €50,000 EPT Super High Roller at EPT Paris in February for €889,480. Rounding out the top three is Kazuhiko Yotsushika. He bagged a stack of 414,000 heading into Day 2 and is looking to add to his $2,485,013 in live tournament earnings.

Other notable players to be bagging a stack outside of the top 10 are PokerStars Ambassador Sam Grafton who bagged 150,500, Ole Schemion who has 112,000 and Adrian Mateos who has 111,000.

The current prize pool stands at €324,300 but expect that to increase as more players will register before the end of the registration period which ends at the end of Level 10 tomorrow.

Day 2 starts at 12.30p.m. local time tomorrow with the blinds at 1,500/3,000 with a 3,000 big blind ante. At the start of level 13, a Mystery Bounty token will be awarded to each remaining player and players who eliminate other players will collect the Mystery Bounty Token from the eliminated player.
