Michel Bouskila opened to 10,000 from the hijack and action folded to George Moussa in the small blind. Moussa asked his opponent how many chips he had behind, and Bouskila responded with "96,000".
Moussa counted out exactly 96,000 and slid it forward. Bouskila made the quick call and the hands were turned up.
Michel Bouskila: A♣A♥
George Moussa: Q♣Q♥
Bouskila's stack was actually 95,500, which Moussa slid across the table after the 5♣J♣K♠2♥K♦ runout kept the aces in front.
Jerry Xia opened to 10,000 in the hijack before Hasan Onay three-bet to 36,000 in the small blind. Xia made the call to see the 8♥2♦5♥ flop.
Onay continued for 25,000 and was called to the 7♣ turn. This time Onay checked, making the call once Xia fired 41,000.
The A♦ river saw Onay lead out once again, betting enough to put Xia all in. After taking some time, Xia opted to lay it down and Onay added more chips to his stack.
Collin Tran opened to 8,000 in middle position and was quickly three-bet by Erden Ibrahim in the cutoff to 16,000. Hasan Onay then put in a four-bet from the big blind to 38,000, with Tran quickly folding.
Ibrahim took some time before sliding his stack into the middle, with Onay making the snap-call.
Erden Ibrahim: K♠K♣
Hasan Onay: A♣A♥
Onay was happy to turn over his pocket aces, while Ibrahim could only sigh as his kings were second-best. The 8♦9♥8♠10♠3♣ runout was no help, and Ibrahim wished the table good luck as he hit the rail.
In the 822nd episode of the PokerNews Podcast, which is sponsored by WPT Global,Chad Holloway, Mike Holtz & Kyna England come to you from Level 9 Studios in Las Vegas to discuss the latest poker news, stories, and gossip.
That includes Nik Airball's 20-minute tank in a big hand on The Lodge Poker Live Stream, which prompted Doug Polk to take action. That led to a discussion on pet peeves at the table, and in Mike's case, the pet part is quite literal.
The crew also plays the first edition of PokerNews Plinko, discusses Chad's poker thrift store "Tweet of the Week," and talks about the current state of poker given Bitcoin is at an all-time high. From there, they dive into the wild journey of poker vlogger Corey Eyring, who is risking his entire net worth in an attempt to win $500,000 by the end of the year. Whatever amount he ends up with, the plan is to place it all on a single roulette bet of either red or black. Chad chatted with Eyring about his crazy quest and highlighted various clips throughout the episode.
Did you know the PokerNews Podcast is no longer just audio? That's right, we've added a video show as well that you can view on the PokerNews YouTube Channel.
