Mid-States Poker Tour Expands Into Milwaukee 0001

Just days after the Mid-States Poker Tour announced its Mid-Season Championship event will take place at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino during the very popular Deep Stack Extravaganza series, the tour has revealed another expansion maneuver. Another big stop has been added to the tour, and the MSPT will be making its first-ever stop at the Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee, WI.

The Potawatomi Casino is located just an hour drive from Chicago, IL, and the MSPT at Potawatomi Casino will take place August 30 through September 7, 2014. With a $200,000 guaranteed Main Event, this stop is expected to produce great numbers. The Main Event will play Day 1a on Friday, September 5 and Day 1b on Saturday, September 6.

Located in the heart of Milwaukee, Potawatomi Casino has a poker room that offers 20 tables operating 24 hours a day. All the standard games can be found, and there's even the perk of a bad beat jackpot, which currently sits at over $136,000. Players attending the upcoming MSPT event will have the luxury of being some of the first to stay in the brand new hotel at Potawatomi Casino. Set to open this summer, the new hotel will be 18 stories with 381 city- and lake-view rooms.

After these latest two announcements of new events to the tour, the MSPT's 2014 schedule now boasts 20 events in nine different states. There is still possibility of a couple more stops being added to this year's schedule, so be sure to stay tuned right here to PokerNews for all of your MSPT news.
