Chip leader Matt Glantz
Chip leader Matt Glantz
It was a long night tonight and all the players are tired. As the remaining spectators dispersed from the rail, we found ourselves with only eight players remaining from today's starting field of 89.

Matt Glantz will head in to tomorrow as the only player over one million in chips. He holds the chip lead by a few hundred thousand at approximately 1,150,000.

The final table will take place tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. PDT.

Important Fold for Elezra

Razz:

Just as David Oppenheim was all in on the other table, Eli Elezra was faced with calling a bet from Sam Farha on sixth street in razz. After the hand was over at the other table and it was confirmed that Oppenheim was out, Elezra said to Farha, "I have to fold. If I make the final table I win $100,000 from a last-longer bet."

Elezra then folded with Farha saying, "I know you can't call Eli, but you made it."

David Oppenheim Crippled

Stud-8:

David Oppenheim (x-x) {K-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {9-Hearts}

Tom Dwan (x-x) {5-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {K-Clubs}

When fifth street peeled off, Dwan checked, Oppenheim bet, and Dwan raised, sending Oppenheim into the tank for several minutes as the players from the other table swarmed around. Oppenheim folded, leaving himself 45,000 behind and Dwan raked in the pot. Dwan graciously showed Oppenheim the {5-Hearts} , revealing that he had two pair.

Mackey and Dwan Duke it Out

Stud:

James Mackey and Tom "durrrr" Dwan got a bunch of bets in on third, fourth, and fifth street. Dwan led the action on sixth and seventh street, to which Mackey called both times.

The pot was well over 100,000 and in the end, Dwan turned up a nine-high straight. Mackey said he had two pair and mucked his hand.

Mackey dropped to 600,000 as Dwan rose to 600,000.
