235 of the world's best Omaha Hi-Lo players entered this $10,000 buy-in Omaha Hi-Lo World Championship. A lot of big names made a run at the title, but in the end it was David Benyamine who took the title. Benyamine claims his first WSOP bracelet and $535,687. Congratulations to David Benyamine, Omaha Hi-Lo World Champion.
Congratulations to David Benyamine for taking out Event 37 - $10,000 Omaha Hi-Lo World Championship. David was prominent for the majority of the tournament and once Mike Matusow was removed from the final table, David completely dominated. He was an unstoppable force that the other players simply couldn't match.
This is David's first WSOP bracelet and he also pockets a handy $535,687 for his efforts.
Greg Jamison was just crippled in a hand that was two bet preflop and bet every street until the river. On the river Benyamine bet out and Jamison folded.
In a series of recent pots David Benyamine has been able to dismantle Greg Jamison one pot at a time. Benyamine has chipped away in a series of small pots where he has taken most of them down without a showdown. In the hands that went to showdown Benyamine is showing the goods.
Jamison is down to under 300,000. This one could be all over very shortly.
So far David Benyamine has been winning 75% of all the hands heads up. Most of the pots are being taken down on the flop, but he just took a pot down with kings up to move to over 4,000,000 in chips.
Although the chips and cards seem to have been drawn to David Benyamine like a magnet, Greg Jamison has just decided to move away from the eight-seat that was next to Benyamine, to the other end of the table in the two-seat for a more traditional heads up play atmosphere.
