The legendary Doyle Brunson has been eliminated from the event. He was taken out by Andy Bloch and received a warm applause from the spectators on the rail.
After that hand, Bloch increased his stack to over 110,000.
Big three-way pot between Tom Dwan, Eli Elezra, and Ted Lawson.
I caught the action on the turn when Dwan went all in for the rest of his chips on a board of: . Lawson bet the pot and Eli went into the tank for a very long time.
He ended up folding and Lawson showed XX
Dwan had XX for a flush draw.
River was a and Dwan was out.
A small consolation was that he won £50 from Andy Bloch in some sort of river card prop.
Michael Binger ended the WSOP with eight cashes after taking a two-outer in the Main Event while on course to possibly cash. This is notable because eight cashes ties the record for most in one year, and nine would have broken it. According to Jeffrey Pollack, he regards these events as events numbers 56, 57, and 58 of the 2007 World Series of Poker. Therefore, we have to ask: if Michael Binger cashes in one of these events, does he break the record for WSOP cashes in one year? If the bracelets count, why wouldn't the cashes? We talked to Michael about his tournament thus far and about this much talked-about issue.
