Controversy in the 2019 World Series of Poker $50K

Week 1 of the 2019 World Series of Poker has wrapped up. Sasha Salinger of PokerNews is here to give you all the highlights. First off, the "Big 50" event was a whopping success with an astounding 28,231 entries! The "Big 50" was a $500 buy-in tournament with a guaranteed first place prize of $1 million. Daniel Negreanu final tabled the first WSOP event in played in! We spoke to him shortly after he busted in 6th place.
There was controversy in the 2019 World Series of Poker $50K High-Roller event. When poker player Ben Heath was contemplating what to do in a hand, he threw in a time bank chip. Sam Soverel (on Heath's left) quickly looked at and folded his hand OUT OF TURN. Many are speculating whether he folded out of turn on purpose in hopes of a pay jump or whether it was an innocent mistake. Watch the clip to see for yourself!
