Seven Huge Mystery Bounties Remain

Level 22 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

With 72 players remaining in the tournament, there are still a number of huge mystery bounties left. Two of the three $100,000 grand prize mystery bounties have already been pulled, but one still remains.

Additionally, there are three $50,000 and three $25,000 bounties out there for some lucky poker players to find. That means remaining players have a 1 in 12 shot at uncovering at least $25,000 in one pull. The minimum award is $500 for mystery bounties.

Ben Ector raised to 40,000 from under the gun and Qing Lu three-bet shoved from the next seat over. A player in middle position re-shoved and Ector got out of the way. Action was heads-up with Lu at risk.

Qing Lu: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and Lu found an ace on the river to crack pocket kings for a double.

Ector Takes from Stout

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Ben Ector raised to 40,000 from middle position and Brittney Stout called from the button. Matt Affleck came along from the big blind and action was three-handed.

The flop came {j-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. Ector and Affleck checked before Stout bet 65,000. Affleck folded and Ector check-raised to 200,000. After a moment of thought, Stout called.

The turn was {q-Hearts} and both players checked to see {3-Diamonds} on the river. Ector bet 225,000 and Stout quickly called.

Ector turned over {j-Spades}{5-Spades} for two pair and Stout tossed the losing hand in the muck.

Kolman's Pocket Queens Sends Magnus to the Rail

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Nadya Magnus

Sebastin Kolman informed PokerNews of the brief details of the hand as Nadya Magnus was heading to the payout line. Kolman said he called an all-in preflop with {q-}{q-} for just under 400,000 from Magnus, who was holding {j-}{j-}.

Magnus spiked a {j-} on the flop but a {q-} landed on the river to give Kolman the pot, sending the 2021 GPI Female Player of the Year home.

Magnus Buys Lucky Contest Winner into Wynn Millions Main Event

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Nadya Magnus
Nadya Magnus

Nadya Magnus, who sits at nearly 500,000 in chips, won the 2021 GPI Female Player of the Year award and seeks a repeat performance in 2022.

She's also active in promoting the game and helping other talented women achieve success in poker. Last week, she offered up an interesting contest for women with under $100,000 in total live Hendon Mob earnings. She will buy the poker player who won it into the $10,000 Wynn Millions $10 million guaranteed Main Event March 3-11.

Magnus posted a puzzle and the first eligible person to correctly answer it won. That individual is Alecia Ackred who has $2,175 in recorded live tournament cashes, per Hendon Mob. Ackred now has an opportunity to earn her first massive score if she can run deep in the Wynn Millions Main Event later this week.

As for Magnus, she's quickly becoming one of the top women in the game and ended Kristen Bicknell's streak of three straight GPI Female Player of the Year awards. Magnus, who has nearly $1.3 million in live tournament cashes lifetime, accepted her award at the Global Poker Awards earlier this month.

Stout Chips Up Again

Level 20 : 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

A loud "Yes!" was heard from across the Wynn Poker Room, and it was coming from the direction of Brittney Stout.

PokerNews arrived at the table to find Stout with {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} showing and a board of {7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Stout had rivered a flush to pick up a 900,000 pot and move above 2 million in chips, scoring a knockout in the process.

Stout is stacking bounties for her eventual trip to the drum.
