Hohner Eliminated by Moran, Soverel Dodges Cooler

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ryan Hohner

Daniel Moran opened to 45,000 in early position and Sam Soverel flat-called in the small blind. Ryan Hohner in the big blind then three-bet to 295,000 with just 5,000 behind and Moran responded with a four-bet all-in. Soverel quickly folded.

Ryan Hohner: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Daniel Moran: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

Hohner was ahead with queens but that changed when the flop came {7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} to give Moran two pair. The board finished out {7-Hearts}{j-Clubs} to improve Moran to a full house and Hohner was eliminated.

Had Hohner not raised, it would have been a massive cooler for Soverel as he revealed he held {a-Spades}{7-Spades}.

"That would've been disgusting," Soverel said. "I would've been so tilted."
