Tran Gets Failla to Fold; Collects Bounty

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
JC Tran
JC Tran

Bradley Harris was all-in preflop from the cutoff against JC Tran on the button and Will Failla in the small blind.

Failla checked to Tran on the {q-Spades}{a-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop, who bet 50,000. Failla then check-raised to 100,000 and Tran called.

Failla checked again on the {7-Diamonds} turn and Tran went all in for about 300,000 total. Failla opted to fold after a bit of thought and cards were revealed between Harris and Tran.

JC Tran: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Bradley Harris: {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The {q-Clubs} was of no help to Harris and Tran collected his bounty.

Jacques Shoves on Poker Hall of Famer

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Poker Hall of Famer John "Johnny World" Hennigan raised to 23,000 from the hijack and called when Aaron Jacques three-bet all in for 84,000 from the button.

Aaron Jacques: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
John Hennigan: {q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

Jacques got it in good but Hennigan hit big when the flop came down {j-Hearts}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs} to give him trip queens. Jacques began to get up out of his seat but paused after the dealer burned and turned the {k-Hearts} nor give him back the lead with a Broadway straight.

The {7-Hearts} river was of no consequence and Jacques shipped the double.

Dubonnet Doubles Through Shorr

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Samy Dubonnet opened to 17,000 from early position and action folded around to Shanon Shorr in the small blind, who announced he was all in. It was folded back to Dubonnet, who quickly called.

Shannon Shorr: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Samy Dubonnet: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

The {3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{j-Hearts} runout was of no help to Shorr and he was forced to surrender a large portion of his stack to pay off Dubonnet.

Donald Nimneh Nabs $250,000 Bounty

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

It didn't take long for the biggest bounty on the board to hit! Donald Nimneh was the lucky winner as he selected the mystery bounty envelope containing $250,000 within 40 minutes of play on Day 2!

While there were a lot of disappointed moans from the other players who didn't get it, there are still plenty of big bounties up for grabs including three $100,000 envelopes.

Thiem Gets Lucky to Stay Alive

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Johan Martinet raised to 19,000 from middle position and the player in the cutoff called. Thao Thiem then moved all in for 39,000 from the big blind, Martinent rejammed, and the cutoff folded.

Thao Thiem: {k-Spades}{2-Spades}
Johan Martinet: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Thiem was behind but the {7-Hearts}{a-Spades}{6-Spades} flop gave him a flush draw. The {q-Diamonds} turn was a brick but the {3-Spades} river was not as the spade flush came in to save Thiem.
