Kamphues Spikes the River

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

After Chris Klodnicki raised to 3,500 from the cutoff, Lars Kamphues three-bet to 18,500 from the small blind and Mike Sexton folded his big blind. With action back on Klodnicki he asked if Kamphues had him covered, and after confirming Kamphues did have the bigger chip stack Klodnicki made the call.

Kamphues continued for 10,000 on the {k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop and Klodnicki made the call. After both players checked the {7-Spades} turn Kamphues led out for 22,500 on the {a-Clubs} river and Klodnicki thought for a moment before making the call. Kamphues tabled {a-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Klodnicki shook his head as his mucked his cards.
