Kornuth Krumbling
We just caught the tail end of this pot, the latest in a long string of slippery pots for one-time chip leader Chance Kornuth. For this hand, there was a board of out on board when we approached and a pot of about 3,000 in the middle of the table. Terence Tanner let out with a little overbet of 3,500 straight, and Kornuth tank-called.
Tanner showed up for kings up, and Kornuth nodded in acknowledgement as he slowly placed his cards into the muck. It seems like just moments ago he was riding the big stack of close to 25,000, but Kornuth has given most of that to Tanner (the new chip leader) and now finds himself back around double his starting stack (and below average) with 6,400.
