Patience Prevails

Moments after the aforementioned hand, Ben Vinson was getting his hands dirty once again, this time against Antonio Esfandiari.

I assume that Esfandiari opened from the cut-off and Vinson called in the big blind, but either way, Esfandiari's final chips went in on on a {9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades} flop with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}, which was just about pipping Vinson's {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

No change on a {4-Hearts} turn and a {2-Clubs} river and Esfandiari, who has shown more patience than a saint chess player, doubled through. He now has around 5,500, whilst Vinson is down to a bowl of rice.
